Royal London has announced the appointment of Barry O'Dwyer, previously head of UK for Standard Life Aberdeen, as its new group chief executive to replace outgoing Phil Loney.
Barry O'Dwyer and Campbell Fleming, both senior figures at Standard Life Aberdeen, are to become non-executive directors of Phoenix Group.
Standard Life's chief executive officer (CEO) for UK and Europe pensions and savings will retire at the end of August, the firm has announced.
