Petition pushing government to protect pension tax incentives gets 3,000 signatures

AJ Bell has launched a parliamentary petition pushing the government to commit to retaining pension tax incentives, a move it said would end “damaging speculation” on the future of tax-free cash and tax relief on contributions.

The provider said it wanted government to back what it is calling a ‘Pension Tax Lock', which would see ministers promise not to alter pension tax incentives for at least the remainder of this parl...
