LPPI appoints NED

Local Pensions Partnership Investments (LPPI) has appointed Sonia Gogna as non-executive director (NED).
Gogna has more than 20 years' experience in investment management, actuarial and pensions leadership, with expertise in outsourced chief investment and multi-asset investments, as well as strategy and distribution.
She previously worked at Aberdeen as global head of solutions, where she led on defined benefit, defined contribution, wealth and insurance solutions, and has also worked in senior roles at Aon, State Street and WTW.
Gogna is currently an independent board member of the Pension Protection Fund and chairs the Children's Investment Fund Foundation GP board.
She will succeed Sarah Laessig in the role who will step down after six and a half years.

Broadstone appoints SME business development consultant

Broadstone has appointed Lindsay Kenny as a business development consultant for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Kenny brings more than 15 years' experience in employee benefits, business development and client relationship management and joins from Towergate where she worked as an employee benefits consultant.
In her new role, she will focus on delivering employee benefits solutions and wellbeing strategies to support SMEs to enhance employee engagement. She will work with the consultancy's clients to understand their needs, design and implement benefits packages and provide support.
