Former Pensions Policy Institute (PPI) head of policy research Daniela Silcock has left to launch her own research business.
The new launch – Daniela Silcock Pensions Research – will offer research services covering "everything pensions", from policy analysis to membership and investment.
Silcock is also offering bespoke training courses for companies wishing to learn more about specific aspects of the pensions system.
Alongside this Silcock will be blogging and commentating as Pensions Goth on LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), BlueSky and her website, pensionsresearch.co.uk.
Commenting on her new venture, Silcock said: "I have been at PPI since 2008, and have been the head of the policy research team for the past ten years.
"I loved the time I spent at PPI and the opportunities it gave me to conduct research across the landscape and really make a contribution to the policy debate.
"Some really proud achievements are launching our recent asset strands series which looks at how pension schemes invest and how assets are defined and our small deferred pots work which resulted in a Government inquiry and led to the upcoming multiple default consolidator model.
"I am now moving on because I feel I have more to feed in to the pensions world as an independent researcher and commentator."
