Rising Star Awards 2024 - The winners!

Here they are… the winners of the Professional Pensions Rising Star Awards 2024.

The Rising Star Awards aim to celebrate the emerging talent in pensions, recognising our industry's future leaders as well as the organisations that are developing and nurturing the talent.

Our winners were announced last night (14 November) at a gala dinner at the Hilton Bankside in London.

There was an exceptional response to these awards this year with a record number of submissions to the Professional Pensions judging panel.

 

The full list of winners for 2024 is as follows:

Administrator of the Year

Lawyer of the Year 

Winner: Emily Rowley (Sackers)

Investment Manager of the Year

Investment Trainee of the Year

Winner: Eleanor Osborn (Mercer)

 

Excellence in Customer Service and Communication Award

Winner: Krystie Waterhouse (Wiltshire Pension Fund)

 

Mentor of the Year

Winner: Leanne Coomber (Dalriada Trustees)

 

Team of the Year

Winner: Lane Clark & Peacock (Pensions Management Consulting Department)

Special Commendation

Katie Worrell (Legal & General)

At the beginning of the evening, judges made a special award, paying tribute to one of the nominees, Legal & General's Katie Worrell, who tragically passed away in June. Katie's colleagues praised her as a rising star of the business; saying she was a dedicated and hard-working team player who was proud of the role her company played in helping to change the lives of ordinary savers. She was described as always kind to others and hugely supportive of those who struggled.
