The majority (68%) of defined benefit (DB) sponsors expect to increase the use of professional independent trustees in the future, according to Hymans Robertson.

The survey of 250 senior managers and chief financial officers of DB sponsors last year found almost three quarters (72%) thought their scheme governance was fit for purpose to deliver a DB endgame...
