Peter Tompkins – the pensions actuary who was formerly a partner at both Lane Clark & Peacock and PwC – has gone viral on TikTok after a video of him giving a tour of his home was posted on the social media site.

Tompkins said he had been filmed showing his London flat for a series of TikTok videos on how much people pay or rent their homes for.

His video of him giving a two-minute tour had around five million views in just five days - as well as over 300,000 likes.

As Tompkins wryly notes in a post about the video: "It's on a different scale from LinkedIn."
