BHS trustees did not support any restructuring proposal before sale

Dominic Chappell's claim the British Home Stores (BHS) trustees supported a proposal to restructure pensions before he bought the retailer is "incorrect and untrue" according to new evidence.

In a letter from trustee chairman Chris Martin to the Work and Pensions Committee (WPC) published on 20 June, he rebutted a number of points made by Chappell, who bought the retailer for £1 in 2015...
