Local Government Pension Schemes (LGPS) would have been better off if they had left their portfolios untouched for the last decade instead of listening to investment consultants, research finds.
Analysis by Clerus discovered schemes that had no investment consultant outperformed those that did by an average of between 0.8 and 1.1 percentage points a year from 2003 to 2013. The firm said...
