Johnson Matthey has slashed its pension scheme deficit by more than 60% after accelerating its recovery plan to benefit from favourable tax conditions.
In its preliminary end of year results, released today, the chemicals company said its defined benefit scheme was now 94% funded after cutting its deficit from £156.9m to £60.6m on an IFRS basis. ...
