US - The Teacher Retirement System of Texas' strong returns of 12.6% in the year ended September 30 has allowed the scheme to pay $9.7m in current and deferred bonuses to its staff.
The total value of the fund reached $100.3bn in September, up by $8.9bn from the same date in 2009. The fund has ranked first among its public pension fund peers with asset values of $10bn or more....
