Minister calls for 12% minimum super contribution for miners

AUSTRALIA - Mining companies should introduce a minimum superannuation contribution of 12% in any new workplace agreements, resources Minister Martin Ferguson said.

Ferguson said the move, which should be enforced immediately, would limit the negative economic impact of rising wages in the booming sector and encourage more retirement savings across all sectors...
