Asia funds enjoy record inflows

EMERGING MARKETS - Flows into Asia ex-Japan equity funds were at their highest levels since 1996 during the first half of October. Funds netted some $359.8m in the week ending October 15, according Massachusetts-based to EmergingPortfolio.com Fund Research (EPFR). Combined with the previous week's $342.8m of inflows, October is on track to break records for monthly inflows into the asset class.
