BCE sues over break-up fee

CANADA - Bell Canada Enterprises has started court action against the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (OTPP) and its partners over the failure of the buyout deal.

In papers filed with the Superior Court of Quebec, BCE said it was seeking a CAN$1.2bn (US$1bn) breakup fee over the "premature and invalid" decision to terminate the $45bn acquisition. Payment...

OTPP, Illinois TRS invest in NXT Capital
