ITALY - Italy issued a record-breaking e7bn 30-year bond this week, aided by a slowdown in corporate issues, improved economics and the current popularity of Italian debt , wrote the Financial Times.
The syndicated bonds were bought by 124 investors, with 69% of the issue going outside Italy. Most were bought by long-term investors such as pension funds, fund managers and insurance companies. ...
