Work and pensions secretary James Purnell is the latest cabinet minister to be named in the on-going parliamentary expenses investigation by the Daily Telegraph .

The paper said Purnell avoided paying capital gains tax when he sold his London flat after taking accountancy advice paid for on expenses. It claimed the minister informed parliamentary authorities...
