US - US corporate pension funds for companies in the S&P500 saw their unfunded liabilities shrink by $9.6bn in 2010, data from Wilshire Associates shows.
The aggregate funding ratio for these pension funds increased grew to 85.1% in 2010 from 82.9% a year earlier, while unfunded liabilities fell to $192.7bn from $202.3bn. Total assets in these schem...
