ABP names Brouwer new chairman

NETHERLANDS - Dutch pension fund ABP has appointed Henk Brouwer, former director of pension regulator De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), chairman of its board.

Brouwer (pictured) will take up the position from 1 January 2012. He will replace Ed Nijpels, who left ABP in February 2010. Brouwer recently left the DNB where he had been director for 14 years...
