Mercer strengthens DC team with Punter Southall hire
MERCER has appointed Steve Charlton as a principal within its retirement business in a bid to strengthen its defined contribution pensions team.
The consultant said Charlton will be based in London and be part of its DC leadership team.
Charlton joins from Punter Southall where he was a principal for three years specializing in DC pensions. Prior to this he spent six years at Towers Perrin.
Mercer UK head of defined contribution pension services Tony Pugh said: "We are delighted to welcome Steve to the team. With over 20 years’ experience in the pensions industry and a wealth of knowledge, he further strengthens Mercer’s market-leading capability in the DC area."
