Stephen Mangan to host UK Pensions Awards 2018

Top actor and comedian Stephen Mangan will present the UK Pensions Awards 2018, supported by the ACM Gospel Choir.

The 21st annual UK Pensions Awards will be held at London's Hilton Park Lane on Wednesday 23 May.

Stephan Mangan is best known for his roles as Guy Secretan in the television series Green Wing, and Sean Lincoln in Episodes - a BBC comedy series with Matt LeBlanc, Tamsin Greig and Richard Griffiths.

He also played Dan Moody in I'm Alan Partridge and holistic detective Dirk Gently in the BBC adaptation of Douglas Adams' book Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.

Mangen played Adrian Mole in the six-part BBC TV show series Adrian Mole: The Cappuccino Years, and has appeared as a guest on Would I Lie to You and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

He has performed voice-overs for television and radio advertisements, including for Specsavers and Barclaycard.

He is also a familiar face in a series of television commercials for Nescafe, and hosted The Charity Awards 2011, BAFTA's TV Craft Awards and the Broadcast Awards in 2012. 

In addition to Stephen Mangan and the ACM Gospel choir there will also be a surprise guest band to close the evening.
