With an audience of 1300 plus guests there is arguably no single event in the corporate pensions calendar that brings together investment managers, consultants, scheme managers, trustees and senior industry figures under one roof.

It is a veritable who's who of the pensions industry.

Once again the 2007 event was the biggest since launch. Even before the nominations were announced in March, over 90pc of tables and all sponsorship had been booked. Each year the awards are sponsored by many of the industries most prestigious companies, who through their involvement with the event have achieved considerable exposure to the distinguished audience on the awards evening itself and also the Professional Pensions readership prior to and following the occasion.
